About The Compost

The Compost is the official newsletter of the Willimantic Food Co-op. In it you will find Co-op news, event information, product reviews, recipes and more. You can get a paper version mailed to your home or better yet, an electronic email version (see “Make the Compost Greener,” below).

Get the Current Issue

There are three ways to get The Compost:

  1. If you are a member, you can have The Compost, emailed to you. Please fill in the comment section and askĀ  to receive the Compost via email.
  2. If you are a member, you can have The Compost mailed to you (via post office).
  3. Anyone can download the Compost for free! You can download, view or print the latest edition of the Compost (back issues are at bottom of this page). The download is in Portable Document Format (.PDF). If you have a PC/Windows computer it requires the Free Acrobat Reader to be viewed or printed. If you do not already have it please use this link to download it. If you have a Mac, it will open automatically in Preview which is included in your operating system.

Make The Compost Greener!

We would love to send you The Compost electronically! This is a much greener way of sharing all of our great news and updates. It saves paper, the energy used in the printing process and a lot of postage costs. If you aren’t getting The Compost yet, all you need to do to get it now is click on the link below and write “sign me up” in your email. To get OFF of the postal mailing list, please include your full name in the email so we can remove you from that list.
